Youtube Channel Changes... Sorry!

Now, don't worry too much, as I'm keeping all my past videos, but I AM adding whole new content to my youtube channel: a ton of gaming videos!

If you've read my bio, then you probably know that I love to game as much as I love makeup, or lolita, or BJDs. (And in one case of gaming, I merged BJDs and The Sims!) I could no longer be a silent watcher of others' awesome gaming videos, and I needed to jump head first into the waters. So! I downloaded the free version of Bandicam, which works well for my simple needs, and started uploading, like, a million videos of me playing games.

At first, I didn't have a microphone, but I quickly fixed that, as I love to talk. And now, it's hard to get me to shut up! XD

Also, I'd like to thank GamerPoets for inspiring me to try and do a voiced roleplay or two of Skyrim!

And, if you ever wondered what I actually sound like (as in, when I'm talking normally, not cutely), then these are for you, 'cause so far, I use my real voice in everything but the voiced roleplay of my elf.
(And my real voice is deep and gravelly, I sound like a smoker even though I've never smoked :P
...I blame asthma!)

This is the series with my fake, cute, voice.

After Silence... Comes FAUXDORI!! (My Traveler's Notebook)

Top view, to let you see inside~
Haha, I know, I know, crappy title. But I haven't blogged on here in a while, pretty much all of my attention was on my art blog (which you should check out, even though it's not very good), and I wanted to include that fact in the title!

But down to business... In case you can't tell by the title, I went a little notebook/journal/whatever crazy, and I made myself a fauxdori. And in case you don't know what a fauxdori is: Ahem, a fauxdori is basically a knockoff of a Midori Traveler's Notebook, which is a piece of leather with elastics strung through it so you can string through different books and such. HOWEVER, while that sounds super simple and sort of ridiculous (especially at the price it's at (cough'bout$50cough)) it's seriously awesome, purely (for me) thanks to the customization ability. You can make it anything involving booklets/books/paper. Such as sketchbooks, watercolor pads, journals, diaries, planners, calendars, folders, etc. Or, you can make it pretty much all of the above! All while wrapped up in leather, 'cause, I mean, who doesn't love leather? (Even if you don't love leather, order or make a fabric fauxdori!)

Now, my fauxdori traveler's notebook is fieldnotes size, mostly because then it would fit easily in my purse/pocket, but it'd be bigger than an actual Midori passport size. Not to mention how much easier it is to get/make inserts for fieldnote sized things...

This isn't a post telling you how I made it, mostly because I just followed a video on youtube, and you can search 'how to make a fauxdori' on youtube and you'll probably find it. This isn't even a post showing you how I have it set up! (It is a little...) This is just a post telling you all that I made it, and love it.

Liz Lisa More More 3-way Bag (My Overdue Birthday Post)

For my birthday... which was back in February, I bid on a Liz Lisa fukubukuro on Lacemarket~ And won! For, like, $50, I got a More More 3-way Bag, still wrapped in its original plastic! And, for some reason, I never wrote about it??? But I did film an opening!
(And the dress by itself was about double what I paid for the bag~~ ^3^)

Here's the bag, in backpack mode!

Close up on the emblem!
More or less how it was packaged, minus the plastic

WHAT I GOT!

The dress by itself~

BJD Updates from April 8th, 2014 to April 11, 2015

Yeah... that's quite the gap...
And not much happened, I was too busy blowing my money on other things to buy anything for my dolls... or buy new dolls.

But then! My birthday came, and I swiftly used the money to purchase an, albeit cheap, doll!
THE LUCAS CLAN IS COMPLETE!

1. Uh, according to my last BJD blog post, y'all haven't even seen Xiao's new wigs, so... Let's start with that? I got her two, one of which fit perfectly! The other was too tight, and it was rather thin anyways, so... yeah. The one that fit well became her new official wig! (Did I mention how soft that wig was as well? No? Well, it's really soft~ (Ebay!))

2. Like I said, I bought another doll, and now the Lucas family has a young'n! Her name, as I believe I've already told you in a much older post, is Alexis 'Lexi' Mei-Ling Lucas~ :3 Her character is roughly 6-8 years old and she is Alex and Sasha's little sister. (She also looks almost exactly like her mother, Xiao-Hong...)

3. I got Lexi a wig! "Why is this separate?" you may ask... Well, it's 'cause I got her, like, a week after my birthday, which is in mid-February, and didn't get her a wig until, like, another week, and then after that, it was, like, a few days of waiting for that. SO... yeah.

4. OH! I also did her faceup, like, the day I got her... It was snowing, so I couldn't do it outside, like I normally do, so instead, I probably gave myself cancer by doing her faceup in the garage, with the door partially opened, and with a crappy little dust-mask. If I die, y'all know why... XD But anyways, it was my first time doing eyelashes... and I think I did an alright job!

5. I went to a meetup... DUNDUNDUN~~ :o
Everyone (all two of them!) were nice, and didn't look at me weird when I told them what company and sculpt Xiao was, they just looked a little confused since they hadn't heard of her company... but then I told them that I got her from MoC, and their faces relaxed, so I guess that they were just worried that I'd been ripped off??

6. AND... I gave Xiao a few tattoos, and pierced her tiny ears, and blushed her hands :3

Okay... PIC TIME~

First time body-blushing! Gave her pinkish-red nail polish and blushing!
New wig!

And here's the wig that barely fit and was seriously too tight
My Hujoo lily head, before her faceup~

Lexi (Hujoo Lily), with her faceup.
And here's Lexi fully clothed, faceup'd, a wigged.
Infinity symbol on Xiao's ankle
Another infinity symbol on her foot
Three birds on a branch, which symbolize herself and her twins~

Pierced ears, and a snippet of her back tattoo!

Review: Etsy Fake Nails (Aya1gou - Harajuku, Big Bows, 3D Bow, Kawaii Nails...etc)

Hi! It's been a while~ ^^; But I'm here! And I have a review for y'all! Now, I had been looking everywhere for some affordable, but still super cute and hopefully durable, fake nails. And I think I've found some...!

These things are adorable, long, lengthening, and have some acrylic bows/hearts along with some adorable polka dot nail polish and little tiny nail rhinestones! Every nail is decorated with either a bow with a rhinestone at the knot, or two little hearts with two rhinestones in between~ And then, of course, they are all painted with a french style manicure with bright pastel colors and white dots!

Now then, how about you walk with me through my unboxing?

Now, these were packaged super cutely, except for the cardboard box, but even that was taped shut with cute little utensil tape~! Also, for those wondering, I am able to type and game with these on, as I have typed this entire post with them on, and thus, I should be able to press, like, five letters to game. And they are super flattering on my totally fat little fingers~ Make 'em look long and thin!! XD

Here is a link to the shop, not to the listing I bought these from as that listing is now invalid... yeah, one only! :D (For now, at least...) https://www.etsy.com/shop/Aya1gou?ref=l2-shopheader-name
But I promise that you'l find something cute! She has a lot of nails and they're all awesome and rather cheap, averaging around $20, but going as low as $9!

Also, if you enjoy lenses as well as nails, then  you're probably no stranger to this warning, but please be careful when putting in your lenses, especially with longer nails like these!!

Fairytale Boutique's Website~ My Experience

Now then, for Christmas, from my gracious uncle, I got $100... Naturally, I immediately started scheming as to how I could get the biggest bang for my buck. I settled on buying two books/mooks that I'd been wanting for a while and, because it was there and said 'buy me!', a signed Misako Aoki 2015 calender. With shipping, it only cost me $2, and it cost my uncle the full $100. So, to put it simply, this was a LOT OF MONEY! And so, I ordered, all gleeful... And within the normal 2-3 business days, I got my 'your order is complete' email. But then almost a week passed, and still nothing.

I realize that I live on the east coast, and that they're on the west coast, but still, I had never had a package take that long when it was shipping from the USA... maybe when shipping from China, but never the USA! And so, I decided to contact them.
Did I mention that I bought it a few days before the new year? 'Cause personally, I think that that's where everything went wrong...

But anyways, I contacted them, and within 24 hours, they got back to me, asking for my order#. So, of course, I gave it to them right away! Then came the waiting... again! It almost reached the 48 hour mark when they emailed me back, giving me a tracking number. And, of course, I immediately tracked my package, and the tracking number said not only that my package was coming today, but also that it hadn't been given to the post office until the day they had asked for my order#. Soooo... Imma assume that Fairytale kinda lost my order/thought that they had shipped it out, but they hadn't? Either way, the new year is most likely to blame... But I was still upset, and thus, even though I am BEYOND HAPPY with the products, I am sorta complaining.

Unboxing below~
